The post above was written in March 2026, when The White Pelican Club expected a summer opening. We could not confirm that it has opened. The most recent local reporting we found, from April 2026, said the stop-work notices had been removed, renovation had resumed and the club was holding invitation-only pop-up events. The club's membership page lists two tiers and says fees and dues are set by its Membership Committee and may be adjusted, so treat any figure you have seen, including any in the post above, as a starting point and confirm with the club.
Club names blur together. Sorting them by what you actually do there makes a shortlist easier, and it shows why a new dining club and a golf and beach club are not really competing for the same evening.

Descriptions come from each club's own materials and our community pages. Amenities, structures and fees change, so confirm with each club before you decide.
Structures differ more than amenities do. Some clubs sell membership separately from the home, some tie it to a community, and some cap the roster or admit by invitation. The White Pelican Club shows the range on a small scale: its site lists a Social Membership and a Founding Roosevelt Membership that it reserves for ten people hand-selected by the club's founders. Whatever the club, this is a sensible order for your questions.
Decide how you would use it in a normal week
