Harbor Pointe

Harbor Pointe is Grand Harbor's true single-family riverfront subdivision — the detached, dock-owning homes that share the Harbor Village Drive corridor with the area's condominium buildings but are platted as their own distinct enclave, direct on the Intracoastal. The homes here were largely built in the late 1990s and range widely in scale, from single-story courtyard homes with private docks in the 40-foot class up to three-story estates approaching 5,000 square feet with wet bars, kitchen islands, and three-car garages. What holds the range together is the water: every home carries confirmed waterfront status, with views running to the Intracoastal and the river beyond, and several with private pools set to take in that same view. This is a boating owner's subdivision first. A private dock at the back of the property, rather than a slip at the marina, is the defining feature for most buyers here, and it shows in how the homes are laid out — courtyards and covered porches oriented toward the water, guest cabanas, outdoor living built around the dock rather than the street. Ownership carries the same full standing as any Grand Harbor address: the Pete Dye–designed Harbor Course and the Joe Lee–designed River Course, a 32,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style clubhouse, a protected deep-water marina, tennis and fitness facilities, and a private oceanfront Beach Club a short drive away. Club membership is optional and available in multiple categories. Inventory turns over rarely, and when a Harbor Pointe home does list, it tends to be described by its own listing agent as a rare find — not marketing language so much as an accurate count of how few of these come up in a given year.
