For decades, Vance has devoted his time, talents, and heart to the Exchange Club of Vero Beach, a service organization dedicated to the pillars of Americanism, community service, youth programs, and the prevention of child abuse. "The Exchange Club of Vero Beach has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life. It's not just about service projects or fundraising events—it's about building a stronger, safer, more compassionate community. Vance has served in multiple leadership roles within the club, including Past President of the local chapter and Vice President of the National Exchange Club as well as Chairman of the Scholarship Committee. His commitment has extended far beyond titles-he's been a visible, active presence at signature fundraising events such as the annual Christmas Tree Lot, The Sangarita Challenge, The Healing Hearts Dinner/Dance and the elegant black and white Masquerade Ball, often attending alongside his wife, Vanessa Brinkerhoff.

Vance's leadership and personal investment have helped the club sustain vital local programs that uplift youth, strengthen families, recognize law enforcement, honor veterans and bring neighbors together through shared purpose and goodwill.
