The Vero Beach International Tennis Open (VBITO) — our beloved $75,000 USTA Pro Circuit women's tournament — is celebrating its 5th anniversary from January 26 to February 1, 2026, at the stunning Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club.
This year’s event just got even more exciting with the announcement that Bianca Andreescu, the trailblazing 2019 US Open champion, will be competing on our courts. Fresh off a dominant straight-sets victory to claim her first singles title since that historic 2019 triumph (a W35 ITF event in Bradenton), the 25-year-old Canadian is rebuilding momentum and bringing her powerful, dynamic game to Florida.
For those who remember, Bianca's breakthrough in 2019 was nothing short of legendary. At just 19 years old, the then-World No. 152 stunned the tennis world by storming through the US Open draw, defeating top players along the way, and capping it off with a straight-sets upset over Serena Williams in the final: 6–3, 7–5. She became the first Canadian to win a Grand Slam singles title, the first player born in the 2000s to claim a major, and the first woman to win the US Open on her main draw debut.

Now, after a challenging few years, Andreescu is back in winning form and ready to face top women pros from over 30 countries. VBITO features players ranked roughly 100–200 in the world, all battling for WTA ranking points and a share of the $75,000 prize purse.
